Scholarships

A highly important activity that Monroe Kiwanis does annually is to present scholarships for high school  seniors who are going to further their education at a vocational school to learn a trade or skill.

Four $750 scholarships are awarded, which are renewable ($250) for an additional year.

Each year, in early spring, the Kiwanis Scholarship committee meets with a Monroe High School counselor to review applicants and select winners. These scholarships are presented during awards night at MHS. There are usually 20-25 qualified applicants.
